Where It All Began
Field4Hope began as an idea from a group of students who believe that every child deserves to have a wish come true. We collect wish lists from children in rural communities, children facing difficult circumstances, and children’s homes, then bring those wishes to life through gifts and donations.
Preparing Every Wish
In the summer of 2026, we began our very first Gift Fulfillment journey. For weeks, our team and our supporters worked together to collect gifts from the U.S., match every item to each child’s wish list, and purchase additional gifts in Vietnam. Every detail mattered, from clothing and shoe sizes to finding the right gift for each child.
Lam Dong: Nearly 200 Gifts for 100 Children
On July 29, we drove four hours from Saigon to Lam Dong, carrying nearly 200 gifts for 100 children. At the “My Dream” program, Addison, Vy, and Annie shared a few words before we began handing out the gifts the children had wished for. Some wishes were simple: school supplies, a calculator, or a bicycle to ride to school. Seeing the children’s wide eyes and excited smiles made every moment worth it.
La Vang Orphanage: The Real Gift
Our second stop was La Vang Orphanage, where we delivered gifts to 13 children. This time, the best part wasn’t only opening the gifts, it was playing together. We laughed, played, and spent time with the children, who kept hugging us and didn’t want us to leave.
